In my last post I mentioned that the stimulus plan cut taxes by $288 billion. What I should have mentioned is that this was one of the largest tax cuts in American history. So how come the Republicans all voted against it except for the three moderate heretics? Maybe because it cut taxes for the poor and middle classes, as opposed to the Bush tax cuts, which cut taxes on the wealthy.
It sure is weird to see them voting against tax cuts.
